Family-Centric Approaches
Friday, November 22, 2024 – 8:00 a.m. – noon
We have serious needs within our community. With support from the CNY Community Foundation, FOCUS Greater Syracuse, Inc. and PEACE, Inc. will facilitate a free half-day summit (8 AM – noon) on Friday, November 22nd to learn about and develop successful multigenerational approaches for building our community’s capacity to meet basic needs. This event is being held at the Collegian Hotel and Suites at 1060 E Genesee St, Syracuse.
The keynote will be Jennifer Gregory, Director of Mobility Learning Design & Practice at the National Community Action Partnership. Local experts will also be on hand to offer reflection and inspiration. Time will allow for solutions to be generated from those in attendance as well.
This summit is focused on building our community’s capacity to meet basic needs through Family-Centric Services. Social/human service organizational leadership, community leaders, and frontline workers especially, are invited. Together, we will reflect and build on these successes. We will also develop recommendations to ensure the basic needs for all Central New York households.
Attendance is free, though registration is required and space is limited.
