Citizens Academy has been a conduit of change and learning in Central New York Since 2005!
Citizens Academy, a vital educational program dedicated to informing community members about the organization of local government and the processes of funding and delivering services. By fostering dialogue between government officials, community leaders, and residents, Citizens Academy enhances engagement and understanding within the community.
Citizens Academy is more than just an educational program; it is a catalyst for community involvement and development. Our curriculum integrates economic vitality, social equity, and a healthy environment, providing participants with valuable insights into how they can actively engage in Onondaga County. Since 2005 we have empowered more than 700 participants.
